Michele Merrell is a life-long conservative Republican, and has been highly active in local, state and national politics for more than 30 years. In 2018, she was elected as the Broward Republican State Committeewoman in a landslide. She just won re-election in a 4-way, county-wide contest on Aug. 18, 2020 with more than 50% of the vote.
Professionally, Michele is a senior level technology and telecommunications executive with 30 years experience in corporations ranging from start-up to mature, private, public and pre-IPO. She is currently the President of Merrell Consulting Group, a global marketing consulting consortium.

- Serves as the Caucus Chairwoman for Congressional District 22, 2019 – present.

- Alternate Delegate, 2016 RNC Convention
- Board Member, LeMieux Center for Public Policy, 2018 – present.
- Elected 1st Vice President, Florida Federation of Republican Women, 2019 – present.
- Elected 3rd Vice President, Florida Federation of Republican Women, 2017 – 2019.
- Elected President of the Broward Republican Women’s Club, Federated, 2017-present. She was previously the Vice President from 2016-2017. The organization has seen tremendous growth during her tenure as president.
- Elected Vice President of the East Broward Republican Club, 2015 – currently.
- Committeewoman for the Broward Republican Executive Committee.
- Chairwoman, Women for Ron DeSantis for Governor, Broward County, 2018.
- Leadership Advisory Committee, Ashley Moody for Attorney General, 2018.
- Women for Trump Coalition member, 2016, 2020 campaigns.
- Honored as the recipient of the Statesman’s Award for South Florida, 2018.
- Fundraiser and bundler, many local, state and presidential campaigns.
- Served on various Host Committees, and has been an Advisory Committee Member on numerous state and local campaigns.
